Halfway to Heaven — Three Levels of Pure Smoky Mountain Bliss
Perched in the mountains between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Halfway to Heaven lives up to every bit of its name. With sweeping Smoky Mountain views, three private levels each with their own bedroom and bath, and more amenities than you can shake a hiking stick at, this cabin is the kind of place that turns a good vacation into an unforgettable one.
A Layout Built for Privacy & Connection
Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or another couple, Halfway to Heaven's three-level design gives everyone their own space while keeping the group together where it counts. No one's fighting over the bathroom. No one's crowding the living room. Everyone gets their own retreat — and everyone comes together around the pool table, the hot tub, and the mountain views.
Lower Level — Where the Fun Begins
Enter the cabin on the lower level and you're immediately greeted by a spacious game room with a full-size pool table, flat screen TV, and a comfortable sitting area — perfect for rainy mountain afternoons or late-night competitions. A queen bedroom with its own full bath is tucked away on this level, along with the patio where the hot tub waits to soak away the miles after a day on the trails. Up for a little friendly competition outside? Fire up a game of horseshoes in the yard.
Main Floor — Views That Stop You in Your Tracks
Head upstairs to the heart of the cabin. Large windows frame gorgeous Smoky Mountain scenery from the living area, and an electric fireplace keeps things cozy when the mountain air turns cool. The fully equipped kitchen makes home-cooked mountain meals easy, and the dining area is the perfect gathering spot before heading out to explore. Step out onto the wraparound covered deck and let those rocking chairs do their thing — mornings here with a cup of coffee are something else entirely. The second queen bedroom with its own full bath sits just off the main living area.
Upper Level — The King's Suite
Save the best for last. The top-floor king master suite is a destination all its own — a luxurious retreat featuring a large jacuzzi tub, sitting area perfect for curling up with a book, and not one but two private porches. Wake up here and you'll understand exactly why this cabin is called Halfway to Heaven.
Minutes from Everything
Dollywood is just 18 minutes away. The Island in Pigeon Forge is under 20 minutes. Anakeesta and downtown Gatlinburg are a quick 19-minute drive. You're close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like you've truly escaped — and guests consistently rave about spotting bears right from the cabin, which never gets old.
Halfway to Heaven sleeps up to 6 guests and includes free Wi-Fi, Smart TVs in every room, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, and free parking. No pets. No smoking.
4-wheel drive or chains required November through March in the event of inclement weather.
Three levels. Three bedrooms. One incredible Smoky Mountain escape — book Halfway to Heaven today.

Halfway To Heaven is clean and comfortable. The amenities are excellent. The staff at Heartland Rentals were quick to address any issues that we had. We enjoyed the location close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Basement set up is fantastic - really enjoyed the layout of cabin
My family and I travel to East Tennessee at least once a year and have stayed in many cabins. The layout of HALFWAY TO HEAVEN is probably my favorite. The downstairs area is great. We really enjoyed hanging out down there, shooting pool, playing cards and watching TV.

Beautiful View
We've stayed with Heartland Rentals before, and it's always a great experience. We rented Halfway To Heaven for 5 nights, and enjoyed every minute. The view from the front porch was great. You could see the mountains in the distance and at night you could see the lights from the Island's Ferris Wheel. The cabin had more than enough kitchen items for the 6 of us. We will be renting this cabin again next year.

I enjoyed the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies attraction most.

We had a great time, and the cabin was wonderful! My husband and I took our 4 boys, and 2 friends on our trip and all I can say is we didn't want to leave the cabin! It had everything we needed, plus more! We always stay with Heartland rentals, and will be back again very soon!

Unforgettable!
Such a beautiful cabin!! It has so many things to do, it has many games to play and entertain, it was very comfortable for 3 couples. We especially loved the view and at night you could see the city lights, our family loved to sit outside at night with a cup of coffee. We really enjoyed our stay

Relaxing!
The cabin is absolutely beautiful and spacious. There was plenty of room for all 3 couples and we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The view from inside and out is breath taking it feels like your sitting up in the clouds. It was a little cold in the cabin when we arrived but once we turned the heat up and the fireplace on it quickly became comfortable. The drive up to the cabin is steep in some places make sure you have good tire traction if the weather is wet. Beside the drive up the mountain I have nothing but positive things to say about the cabin and about Heartland Rentals. Every time we called with questions someone was there to help us, the staff was great and friendly. I definitely will be using this location again it was exactly what we needed and was looking for!
