Beautiful view
This cabin is beautiful with 3 stories which worked well for our family. The view is gorgeous and the large porches are great for relaxing after a busy day.

Simply Wonderful!!!
The cabin was everything they promised and more. What was even better was the paved road to and from the cabin which made it even better when venturing out into the town. The view from the master of the mountains was stunning as was the view of the town of Pigeon Forge from the wrap around porch. You would be making a mistake to overlook this cabin if your goal was to relax and unwind.

Perfection!
This cabin is literally amazing! It is a little bit of a drive to reach the top of the mountain (nothing major, it is mainly all very well maintained roads), but everything about this cabin is worth it. First, the views are unbelievable. From the front porch, you can see all the way down to the Island in Pigeon Forge. Second, the layout of the house was perfect for our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children). We spent a lot of time in the basement game room playing pool and enjoying the fireplace. The beds are all extremely comfortable and more than adequate in size. The kitchen was stocked with all the essential plates, utensils, pans, etc. To be honest, I was a little skeptical not knowing exactly where the cabin was located before we booked it, but the location was perfect. From where you exit the Parkway, it was only 5 minutes to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. I honestly can not say enough about this place. My 3 year old kept saying how beautiful the cabin is. There are other cabins around, but since you are on the top of the mountain, the closest one is right across the street. You will be not regret this cabin!

Enjoyable
We have rented cabins in Gatlinburg at least 30 times in the past 23 years, always used the same company for rental properties. We decided to try a different company and went with Heartland Cabin Rentals due to the high reviews. The staff were pleasant to work with and very helpful. The cabin is very nice, will be checking out the other cabins Heartland has to offer but would like to return to the Halfway To Heaven cabin for another stay. Our last night was rain and fog, thought it was a good night to relax in the hot tub. Went out to remove tub cover and heard something in the woods at the corner of the house (approx. 25' from tub), so I got the flashlight and we had a bear bedding down right in the edge of the woods near hot tub. So I covered the tub and we decided to let the bear rest! No need in us relaxing in the hot tub and getting the bear stirred up. Black bears are usually nice, but no need in disturbing him if he had a bad day! haha
If there is a con with this cabin, it would be the steep hills driving to the cabin. The roads are great condition with new asphalt, just steep.

Fun Stay
Near perfect cabin for our 40th Birthday retreat for my husband! While we always use Heartland Cabins this was our first time to Halfway you Heaven. The location of this cabin is very convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Great porch where all six of us enjoyed spending time in the evening looking out over Pigeon Forge. Enjoyed visits from the squirrels on the porch in the morning and the turkeys walking by our cabin. We saw a bear walking across the road towards the end of our drive down from the cabin our first evening! Several reviews in the guest book in the cabin said that they saw bears at the cabin frequently! The only thing that would make this cabin perfect would be a third shower in the upstairs bedroom so just be aware the large bedroom upstairs has a wonderful large jetted tub only and a toilet and sink in a small slanted bathroom. We did make it work however with the other bathrooms. We always recommend Heartland Rentals and can recommend this cabin now too!

A beautiful and relaxing week
Clean cabin, amazing views from a hilltop. We had front row seats to fireworks everynight at the island from our deck, and could see the ferris wheel. It took a day to get the hot tub warmed up it was turned down to 65 degrees. Located halfway between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. We could see only one other cabin, which is an accomplishment in this area, they have some cabins tuck in on some step hillsides, many to the point of no outside yard, area. Halfway to heaven has outside space you can enjoy. Cabin is beautiful, well furnished and is how you picture a mountain cabin. The millipedes or tent worms (?) are bad this year we called the office and they had someone there by the end of the day. This is the third time we have rented with heartland rentals and will rent again. We always start and end our search with heartland rentals.

Amazing Stay!!
The cabin was very beautiful and roomy. Loved spending time shooting pool, sitting on the deck and listing to the rain on the metal room! We loved the sunsets and we were able to see Dollywood's fireworks from our deck. Heartland Rentals were great to work with. GREAT customer service! They will be out "go-to" rental agency for our trips to the Smoky Mountains! Thank you for the memories and providing with an escape we truly needed!

Great Views and Comfortable Accommodations
Stayed 4 nights with our 3 sons ages 8,11 and 13. Really enjoyed the house and would book it again if we were to come back. House was clean and well appointed with beautiful views. The decks and outdoor space made the exterior as comfortable as the interior. Easy to get to local attractions and parks, but well removed from the busyness. Internet was solid which was a big plus. Heartland was easy to work with.
One area for improvement would be kitchen lighting.
