Halfway to Heaven — Three Levels of Pure Smoky Mountain Bliss
Perched in the mountains between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Halfway to Heaven lives up to every bit of its name. With sweeping Smoky Mountain views, three private levels each with their own bedroom and bath, and more amenities than you can shake a hiking stick at, this cabin is the kind of place that turns a good vacation into an unforgettable one.
A Layout Built for Privacy & Connection
Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or another couple, Halfway to Heaven's three-level design gives everyone their own space while keeping the group together where it counts. No one's fighting over the bathroom. No one's crowding the living room. Everyone gets their own retreat — and everyone comes together around the pool table, the hot tub, and the mountain views.
Lower Level — Where the Fun Begins
Enter the cabin on the lower level and you're immediately greeted by a spacious game room with a full-size pool table, flat screen TV, and a comfortable sitting area — perfect for rainy mountain afternoons or late-night competitions. A queen bedroom with its own full bath is tucked away on this level, along with the patio where the hot tub waits to soak away the miles after a day on the trails. Up for a little friendly competition outside? Fire up a game of horseshoes in the yard.
Main Floor — Views That Stop You in Your Tracks
Head upstairs to the heart of the cabin. Large windows frame gorgeous Smoky Mountain scenery from the living area, and an electric fireplace keeps things cozy when the mountain air turns cool. The fully equipped kitchen makes home-cooked mountain meals easy, and the dining area is the perfect gathering spot before heading out to explore. Step out onto the wraparound covered deck and let those rocking chairs do their thing — mornings here with a cup of coffee are something else entirely. The second queen bedroom with its own full bath sits just off the main living area.
Upper Level — The King's Suite
Save the best for last. The top-floor king master suite is a destination all its own — a luxurious retreat featuring a large jacuzzi tub, sitting area perfect for curling up with a book, and not one but two private porches. Wake up here and you'll understand exactly why this cabin is called Halfway to Heaven.
Minutes from Everything
Dollywood is just 18 minutes away. The Island in Pigeon Forge is under 20 minutes. Anakeesta and downtown Gatlinburg are a quick 19-minute drive. You're close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like you've truly escaped — and guests consistently rave about spotting bears right from the cabin, which never gets old.
Halfway to Heaven sleeps up to 6 guests and includes free Wi-Fi, Smart TVs in every room, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, and free parking. No pets. No smoking.
4-wheel drive or chains required November through March in the event of inclement weather.

Halfway To Heaven is clean and comfortable. The amenities are excellent. The staff at Heartland Rentals were quick to address any issues that we had. We enjoyed the location close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Great vacation. Went with wife and 14 yr old son. Our first day we noticed the hot tub wasn’t working in our cabin, so they immediately upgraded us to another cabin that was available. Halfway to Heaven was a great cabin. Great views. Lots of space. I would definitely recommend Heartland rentals.

We love staying in the Heartland Rentals....This is our 9th stay in the system over the years. We have never had any problems with any rentals and the only company we use. Beautiful cabin with ample room for the 6 of us. Everyone had their space! Lots of bear sighting at the cabin this vacation. Got to watch two sets, twice each! One mother bear with two cubs and one mother bear with three cubs. We arrived on a Tuesday and checked out on Thursday the following week. Spent half our vacation in the parks and half doing the 'tourist items' in the towns. Well spent is a day in Asheville North Carolina at the Biltmore. We will be back in 2024 for our 10th stay!

This is an awesome cabin! Follow the directions that they give you because a GPS will not get you there. Cabin is super clean and each level has a bedroom and bath so it’s perfect for families. It is decorated nicely and the kitchen is well appointed. Had an issue with the air conditioner not working correctly and they sent somebody right out the very next morning to fix it. They were very responsive and proactive. I would totally stay again! Already a repeat customer for Heartland Rentals! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

First is the location of the cabin, it is on the top of the hill, with good view and very quiet separate with the neighbors not too far away. Second: The cabin is nice and clean, with everything needed especially kitchen.
Third: the staffs are very friendly and very helpful. Certainly it is a place I want to go back next year.

Beautiful cabin, nicely furnished. Nice view. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the pool table. Decks were lovely with useful furniture. Could use a shower in the master bedroom but the jacuzzi was wonderful. Since on 3 levels, top level was much warmer than bottom level.

First this was a nice cabin, very clean and comfortable. We have been coming to the smokies for 50 years and renting cabins since about 2009.
The only negative I have about the cabin was my age. I prefer one level for the master bedroom. (mine). I will book with Heartland in the future.(nice people) and very helpful. The Smokey mountains and close proximity places are becoming very popular. The old has been replaced by the new and will not say any more. Thank You Heartland hope to see you again soon.
Thanks to girls at the office on Powdermill.
