Monte Casa — Your Private Mountain Retreat Just Minutes from Gatlinburg
Monte Casa is your private hideaway! A bubbling hot tub is waiting just outside your door, offering a cozy, intimate atmosphere that makes you forget the rest of the world exists. This is couples-only mountain magic, designed exclusively for the two of you.
Monte Casa features seasonal winter views of the Great Smoky Mountains from the deck, living room, dining area, and practically every window in the cabin. Spring brings a riot of color across the ridgelines, fall turns the mountains into a painting, and winter wraps everything in quiet white. Summer mornings here with coffee on the deck are simply unforgettable. Whatever season you choose, the peace and quiet is the star of the show.
Warm, Cozy & Built for Two
Step inside and the cabin wraps around you like a warm embrace. The living room features a comfortable couch and loveseat, a gas fireplace that sets the perfect romantic mood, and a 42-inch flat-screen TV for lazy movie nights in the mountains while you soak in the Smokies.
The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make in-cabin meals easy and enjoyable. Cook a candlelit dinner for two or linger over a slow mountain breakfast before heading out to explore. Everything you need is already here, right down to the pots, pans, blender, and wine glasses.
The King Suite & Your Private Hideaway
The king bedroom is your sanctuary—a comfortable, beautifully appointed space with its own flat-screen TV for those nights when you just want to curl up and stay in. Just off the bedroom is a private sitting area with a futon and foosball table, offering a bonus space for friendly competition or a quiet afternoon with a book while the mountains look on.
The master bath is well-appointed, and there is a convenient half-bath on the main level too, giving you all the comfort and practicality you need for a seamless stay.
The Hot Tub — Your Nightly Ritual
Step out onto the deck and settle into the hot tub as the mountain air surrounds you and the stars emerge overhead. After a day of hiking the national park, exploring downtown Gatlinburg, or browsing the shops around Cobbly Knob, there is genuinely nothing better. Guests consistently say they spent more time in the hot tub than they planned—and we think that's exactly right.
Keep your eyes open on the way in and out, too. Guests have reported black bears walking right up to the front of the cabin. It is wild in the best possible way.
A Gatlinburg Address That Delivers
Monte Casa sits on Highway 321 at Cobbly Knob—just 13 minutes from Rocky Top Sports World and about 21 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and Anakeesta. It is the quiet, private side of the Smoky Mountains experience, tucked away from the bustle but close enough to everything that matters. Note: Skip GPS on your arrival and follow the written directions provided to ensure you get here perfectly.

Very relaxing stay. Plenty of room for two people!

Our stay was nice. Had an issue with the hot tub for a few days but someone came to fix it as soon as I messaged the problem. Very clean cabin with everything you would need for the stay. Loved how many pots and pans there are, nice that it has a washer and dryer! We had a couple bears come right up to the front door I think because we put trash in the bin, which is right by the door so keep that in mind, we always peeked out before we went out after that! They are right about using your GPS to find it, it doesn't! Use the written directions they give you. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!

The cabin was beautiful and spacious for a couple. Just what we were looking for. We stayed at Bear Hug with our children a few years ago and enjoyed that stay as well.

By far the cleanest cabin we have stayed at in the Smokies. I would definitely use Heartland Cabin Rentals again. Any questions I had was answered immediately. Looking forward to our next stay.

The cabin was awesome with a great view! The cabin was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Heartland staff was very helpful. The only con was the highway noise when you sat a outside but it wasn't too bad. We would definitely stay again!

The cabin was clean and very quiet...would have liked a roof over upper deck so when it rained we could still sit outside but that's on me for not checking. Hot tub was clean and very nice.

The communication between us and Heartland was always amazing. They answered all of our questions and more. Response time was 5-10 minutes. The cabin was super clean, even the baseboards and corners. It was everything the website said it was. I’ll definitely be using them again
