Bear Bottom View is a great choice for families looking to explore the area. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed provided except an ironing board. The accommodations were excellent, with beds that were comfortable and the cabin checked in by the staff to make sure everything was okay at the location.

Heartland Rentals was the best rental company we have ever used, not only in Pigeon Forge but in all of the cities we've traveled to over the years. They were the friendliest, most knowledgeable and most competent company, from our initial reservation through our checking out on the last day. They checked in with us to make sure everything was okay at the cabin and when we had a problem with our refrigerator freezer not keeping items frozen, they sent someone out on the weekend to correct the problem. They even replaced our ice cream, which had thawed due to the freezer problem. I wouldn't hesitate to use them when we are in the area again and highly recommend them to any travelers looking for a superb rental experience.

The cabin was wonderful. It looked exactly like it does online. The location was great being between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and, the staff at Heatland was great checking on us.. My only recommendation would be to bring an electrical griddle or non-stick frying pan if your family is a big pancake / omelette fan like mine are (there were only stainless steel pans there which aren’t the best for pancakes or omelettes). We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Cabin was good. Great view, easy access to it, felt more isolated than it was. Bathrooms could use a redesign. The room is huge but the shower is tiny. A lot of wasted space in them. Under cabinet lighting in the kitchen would be a big plus. Needs a small table between the rockers on the deck. No place to set your mug down except on the railing. Would stay there again…not first choice but a nice cabin. Just needs a few tweaks to make it awesome.

Bear Bottom View was amazing! Beautifully decorated and so cozy! Beds were very comfortable, and the view was gorgeous. My only suggestion would be to have coffee for your guests. This is the first cabin I have stayed in that didn't have any available to their guests.
