We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the Bear Pause cabin. It was situated just outside of Pigeon Forge on the south side. It was a very quiet cabin with a spectacular view. The cabin was well equipped and had all the necessary options. The hot tub was a huge hit for relaxing after long days of visiting the various sites around the area. Cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway. Comfortable and nice.

We absolutely love Heartland Cabin Rentals. We have stayed with them twice and have not been disappointed. We recently stayed at Bear Pause for our honeymoon. It was a quiet cabin with plenty of room and gorgeous mountain views. Especially in the morning as the sun is rising! I would recommend Heartland to anyone staying in the Smokies! We love the Xplorie pass also, that provides you one complimentary ticket to a great list of attractions in the area for every day of your stay! We wouldn't stay with anyone else! We stayed at Bear Pause. The cabin was pretty much just as it said online. The location was convenient. We enjoyed our stay! The only complaint we have is with the pull out couch mattress. My daughter slept on it. It was uncomfortable. We kind of expected that anyway since most pull outs are not great for sleeping. That room would have been better if it had a day bed with a good mattress. Other than that, everything was great!

Cabin was very nice for the most part. We had to call the office for the tub that barely drained and the bathroom sink. Excellent response…plumber was there the next morning and fixed the problem. Overall it was a nice visit.
