Mountain Breeze — The Private Wooded Escape the Whole Family Will Love
Hidden away in the peaceful Smoky Mountain woods just minutes from all the action of Pigeon Forge, Mountain Breeze is the kind of cabin that earns five-star reviews trip after trip — and with 129 glowing reviews and counting, it's easy to see why. It's private without being remote, spacious without feeling oversized, and packed with features that make every guest — from the smallest kid to the grown-ups who need to decompress — completely at home.
The Setting: Wooded, Private & Utterly Peaceful
Pull up to Mountain Breeze and the first thing you notice is the trees. Tall, beautiful, and surrounding the cabin on all sides, they create a sense of seclusion that feels miles away from the world — yet The Island in Pigeon Forge is just 15 minutes down the road and Dollywood is under 22 minutes away. The mountain views from the front deck are gorgeous in every season, and the fresh mountain breeze that gives this cabin its name is something you'll feel from the moment you step outside.
The Main Level: Comfortable, Cozy & Ready for Anything
Step inside to a warm, inviting living room anchored by an electric fireplace and a flat screen TV — perfect for cozy evenings in after a full day of mountain adventures. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked meals, and the washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter and stay longer without worrying about laundry.
The king master suite is a true retreat — featuring a large jacuzzi tub, full bath, Smart TV, and the kind of comfortable king bed that makes mornings hard to leave. The queen guest bedroom has its own TV and shares a convenient half bath on the main level.
The Loft: Where Kids Absolutely Lose Their Minds (in the Best Way)
Head upstairs to the loft and watch the kids' eyes light up. A full-size pool table takes center stage, flanked by a wet bar for the adults and a TV for movie breaks. But the real magic? The two built-in kid hideaways — cozy little nook sleeping spaces that kids absolutely adore and adults find utterly charming. Whether they're used for sleeping, playing, or just claiming as a personal fort, they make Mountain Breeze genuinely unforgettable for younger guests. A sleeper sofa rounds out the loft space, giving the cabin comfortable sleeping for up to 6 in total.
Outside: Hot Tub, Mountain Air & Pure Relaxation
The covered deck is your outdoor sanctuary — settle into the hot tub and let the mountain air and tree canopy work their magic after a day of hiking, shopping, or theme park adventures. The porch swing is perfect for quiet evenings, and the charcoal grill is ready for cookouts whenever the mood strikes. One guest said it best: "If I could have moved in, I would have."
Location That Works for Everyone
Whether your group is here for Dollywood, the national park, Cades Cove, or just pure mountain relaxation, Mountain Breeze puts you within easy reach of it all. The Island is 15 minutes away. Anakeesta and Gatlinburg are a scenic 27-minute drive. Townsend and Cades Cove are perfect day trips at under 30 minutes. And a local pizza place nearby delivers right to the cabin — bonus points for that.
Mountain Breeze sleeps up to 6 guests and includes free Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, and free parking. No pets. No smoking.
Note: 4-wheel drive or chains required November through March.

Mountain Breeze has amenities such as comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a hot tub. The cleanliness of the property is excellent with no visible signs of damage or dirt. The comfort level of the accommodations is also high, with all bedrooms equipped with modern amenities like chairs and luggage stands. The staff at the rental agency was very helpful and accommodating, providing clear instructions on how to use the facilities in each bedroom.

We booked this cabin for our Summer Vacation in Pigeon Forge. It was everything we needed and more. The cabin was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The beds were comfortable after a long day of exploring the The Great Smokey Mtns. Heartland Cabin Rentals are very easy to deal with and answered any questions I may have had before our upcoming trip.

The property was beautiful it was the hill and the steep incline. Other than that it was a beautiful cabin. My family loved it very close to parkway where everything is located.

Enjoyable, family-friendly cabin
We loved staying in this cabin, and the staff was so friendly. The cabin was lovely and clean. We arrived a few hours early into town, and we were contacted near our arrival time that our cabin was ready early. Apparently, something needed fixed/checked with the hot tub before we arrived, but it was handled by the time we got to the cabin. If we vacation in this area again in the future, we will very likely used Heartland Rentals again.

❤️
The experience was amazing as always!!
The only complaint about the cabin is if someone is sleeping/staying up in the loft area you hear EVERY move they make. The floor/ceiling should have been insulated or some sort of sound barrier should have been put in place.
Other than that our stay was great!

I enjoyed the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show attraction most.

Peaceful cabin loacted close to everything
Haven't been to the Smokies in 10 years since our honeymoon and had no idea where to start looking for a cabin. We came across this specific cabin through Heartland because we called them after seeing them on Google's reviews and told them what we were looking for. They suggested a few cabins, but highly suggested this one. Quiet, peaceful, off the road, close to everything within 30 minutes or less, and didn't want to be too close to another cabin. Boy, did they get it RIGHT!! This cabin was the PERFECT size for two adults and one 8 year old. This cabin would have also been nice for two families because of how large it is and with THREE toilets, you honestly can't go wrong! Easy to find, great directions, very responsive whether we called them about something or they called us back just to make sure all was perfect. I can't comment on prices because I think everything else was more expensive for a lot less and worst locations. The ONLY downside, and I mean the only was the driveway is a bit steep. So, be prepared to have good tires and not too wide of a vehicle. We drove down our Tundra and boy is that thing wide on the roads we were on.

Loved Mountain Breeze
We absolutely loved Mountain Breeze! It was the perfect size for my 3 friends & I. The past two times that we have stayed in Tennessee, we have stayed in cabins that required us to drive farther up the mountain. This time we wanted less of a drive up the mountain but one that still offered great views. We also wanted a pool table & hot tub. Mountain Breeze checked all those boxes for us. It was clean, spacious, & had everything we needed for a short stay. The only thing that I would keep in mind is the cabin is on a steep incline and has stairs leading up to the cabin. This wasn't a problem for us at all, but just something to keep in mind if that may be a issue for you. Overall we loved our stay & would definitely recommend this cabin to anybody!
