Mountain Breeze — The Private Wooded Escape the Whole Family Will Love
Hidden away in the peaceful Smoky Mountain woods just minutes from all the action of Pigeon Forge, Mountain Breeze is the kind of cabin that earns five-star reviews trip after trip — and with 129 glowing reviews and counting, it's easy to see why. It's private without being remote, spacious without feeling oversized, and packed with features that make every guest — from the smallest kid to the grown-ups who need to decompress — completely at home.
The Setting: Wooded, Private & Utterly Peaceful
Pull up to Mountain Breeze and the first thing you notice is the trees. Tall, beautiful, and surrounding the cabin on all sides, they create a sense of seclusion that feels miles away from the world — yet The Island in Pigeon Forge is just 15 minutes down the road and Dollywood is under 22 minutes away. The mountain views from the front deck are gorgeous in every season, and the fresh mountain breeze that gives this cabin its name is something you'll feel from the moment you step outside.
The Main Level: Comfortable, Cozy & Ready for Anything
Step inside to a warm, inviting living room anchored by an electric fireplace and a flat screen TV — perfect for cozy evenings in after a full day of mountain adventures. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked meals, and the washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter and stay longer without worrying about laundry.
The king master suite is a true retreat — featuring a large jacuzzi tub, full bath, Smart TV, and the kind of comfortable king bed that makes mornings hard to leave. The queen guest bedroom has its own TV and shares a convenient half bath on the main level.
The Loft: Where Kids Absolutely Lose Their Minds (in the Best Way)
Head upstairs to the loft and watch the kids' eyes light up. A full-size pool table takes center stage, flanked by a wet bar for the adults and a TV for movie breaks. But the real magic? The two built-in kid hideaways — cozy little nook sleeping spaces that kids absolutely adore and adults find utterly charming. Whether they're used for sleeping, playing, or just claiming as a personal fort, they make Mountain Breeze genuinely unforgettable for younger guests. A sleeper sofa rounds out the loft space, giving the cabin comfortable sleeping for up to 6 in total.
Outside: Hot Tub, Mountain Air & Pure Relaxation
The covered deck is your outdoor sanctuary — settle into the hot tub and let the mountain air and tree canopy work their magic after a day of hiking, shopping, or theme park adventures. The porch swing is perfect for quiet evenings, and the charcoal grill is ready for cookouts whenever the mood strikes. One guest said it best: "If I could have moved in, I would have."
Location That Works for Everyone
Whether your group is here for Dollywood, the national park, Cades Cove, or just pure mountain relaxation, Mountain Breeze puts you within easy reach of it all. The Island is 15 minutes away. Anakeesta and Gatlinburg are a scenic 27-minute drive. Townsend and Cades Cove are perfect day trips at under 30 minutes. And a local pizza place nearby delivers right to the cabin — bonus points for that.
Mountain Breeze sleeps up to 6 guests and includes free Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, and free parking. No pets. No smoking.
Note: 4-wheel drive or chains required November through March.

We only suggest to replace mattresses. Outside of that our stay was amazing 🤩

We had a great time! The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Perfect location from pigeon forge and gatlinburg. About 15 mins to each. If you want to be away from town this is the perfect cabin for you. Very private. The driveway wasn’t as steep as most places. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin.

The cabin was perfect for a family of three. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will most likely return again in the future. It was beautiful and not hard to get to. Yes, the driveway is steep, but you're on a mountain - what else would you expect? The furnishings were rustic and very "cabiny", and we loved it!

The beds were not very uncomfortable. Did not even see Alexa, although I did not look very hard.

As far as cabins go, this one seemed pretty good. The layout wasn't too weird, the location to PF was great, and the amenities were good, although dated.
Water pressure was good. Hot tub was located on a more private part of the deck. TWO full baths. One half bath upstairs - great for the guests sleeping upstairs on the pullout couch or the sleeping nooks. YES, the sleeping nooks have foam mattresses and sheets provided, which isn't specifically mentioned in the listing. The master shower/tub is separate from the sink+toilet. The king bed is REALLY soft with a pillowtop mattress, so beware if you like firm mattresses. Privacy with plenty of trees on all sides. Overall a good place to stay.

The cabin was very spacious. Our family loved playing pool in the evenings. The cabin is in a beautiful location.

Beautiful setting. Cabin was as Advertised .. Only negatives would be floor boards in game room very noisy in bedrooms and the parking pad at cabin very steep. I would consider this property again in the future.
