Cozy Den — Your Private Smoky Mountain Hideaway, Right in the Middle of It All
Tucked at the end of a quiet private drive deep in the wooded hills between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Cozy Den is the kind of cabin that makes you exhale the moment you arrive. Surrounded by trees, serenaded by wildlife, and perfectly positioned just minutes from everything — this is your Smoky Mountain sweet spot.
Secluded Feels, Prime Location
Don't let the peaceful setting fool you — Cozy Den puts you within easy reach of the best the Smokies has to offer. Dollywood is just 7 miles away, Anakeesta and downtown Gatlinburg are a quick 17-minute drive, and The Island in Pigeon Forge is less than 20 minutes down the road. Come home each evening to your own quiet corner of the mountains, where the only traffic is the occasional black bear wandering through the trees. (Yes, guests really do spot them here!)
Inside: Warm, Comfortable & Full of Fun
The open living area welcomes you with a comfortable, laid-back vibe — kick back on the couch, fire up the Smart TV, and let the mountains do the rest. Challenge the family to a round of classic Pac-Man and Donkey Kong on the 60-in-1 arcade system, or cozy up with board games on a rainy mountain evening.
The main-floor bedroom features a queen bed and a private two-person whirlpool tub — perfect for soaking away a day of hiking or shopping. Upstairs, the second queen bedroom has its own full bath, plus two rollaway beds for extra guests, giving you comfortable space for up to 6. The fully equipped kitchen means you can cook your own mountain feasts and save a few dollars for more adventures.
Outside: Where the Magic Happens
Step out to the screened porch and slip into the six-person hot tub while the sounds of the Smoky Mountains wrap around you — crickets, rustling leaves, maybe an owl in the distance. Gather around the stone fire pit under a sky full of stars, swing on the porch swing with your morning coffee, or fire up the gas grill for a cookout. A wooded walking trail just past the cabin follows the ridge line — a perfect sunset stroll or morning adventure.
Cozy Den sleeps up to 6 guests and includes free Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, gas grill, and free parking. No pets. No smoking.
4-wheel drive or chains required November through March in the event of inclement weather. Decorative wood stove is for looks only — not functional.
Your private Smoky Mountain escape is waiting — book Cozy Den today and make memories worth coming back for.

Loved the cabin and location!!!! The cabin was clean and cozy!! Secluded from everyone but one neighbor. Not far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Saw a bear Saturday morning of our stay!!! Awesome experience!!! We love Heartland Rentals!!! Thank you for another great Cabin!!

The Cozy Den was exactly as it's title suggests; we had a very relaxing experience. I also LOVED working with Heartland Rentals. They stayed in touch throughout every step of the way and made sure we were satisfied with our stay. I will definitely use Heartland Rentals again in the future!
The only thing I did not love about the cabin was the fact that whoever stayed before us smoked weed in our cabin...it smelled so bad the entire time that we were there. I don't blame Heartland...They specifically say in their contract not to smoke inside. But that was why I gave 4/5 stars; We needed some candles lit inside or something.. haha

We loved the cabin and was the best vacation spot. We even had a visit from a bear! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone going to Tennessee!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Cozy Den. The location was great. Tucked away with no traffic but close to everything! We loved being so close to the National Park. The cabin had everything we needed for a family of 6. (4 teenagers) Most places that sleep 6 don’t actually accommodate 6. That was not the case here! Plenty of towels, dishes, utensils and enough room to spread out in the evenings. The arcade game and hot tub were great and I appreciated having a washer and dryer. It had all the comforts of home and the company and all employees were great to work with from start to finish! Check-in was so simple and their communication was great.

This cabin is tucked away in the perfect location.
We loved being right in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It’s tucked away from the main parkway but so close to everything. It was so nice to come back to sit on the porch swing and soak in the hot tub after long days in the town. Very peaceful place surrounded by nature. Could use some household updating, more lighting in the kitchen and upgrades to smart TV’s. Overall a great place for a family vacation. The arcade games were a lot of fun!
No, I would not recommend this vacation rental to a friend or family member.
I enjoyed the Amazing Animals Exotic Animal & Pet Show attraction most.

Very nice and off the road
Everything was great. Only 2 issues that we had was there wasn't a address at the end of the driveway and the water pressure up stairs aint strong if your taking a shower down stairs.
Yes, I would recommend this vacation rental to a friend or family member!
I did not use the Gateway To Fun pass.

Great Cabin
We had a great stay at the Cozy Den! The cabin was clean, rustic, decorated nicely for Christmas, and well stocked with basic necessities. The hot tub was clean & we loved the fire pit and rocking chairs on the front porch. The staff were helpful and communicated quickly if we had questions. Would stay again!
