Christmas Bear Cabin is one of a few Authentic Log Cabins on Wiley Oakley/Ski Mountain.
Christmas Bear is a perfect cabin for your Smokey Mountain Vacation. This great 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin has plenty of room for your family getaway. Located just minutes from Gatlinburg, you will find yourself swept away in the beauty of this cabin. Upon entering into the cabin, you will find a open floor plan with kitchen, dining room and living room. Take advantage of the gas burning fireplace on those cold winter nights. Down the hall, you will have a full bathroom as well as a king bedroom and a queen bedroom. The wrap around deck on this level boasts your relaxing hot tub and sitting area to take in the surrounding beauty. Upstairs, you will have another king bedroom and full bath as well as a private deck. You don't want to miss out on this one of a kind cabin on Wiley Oakley/Ski Mountain. Christmas Bear is one of the most popular new Cabins on the Ski Mountain ! Christmas Bear has WiFi, smart tv's, swimming pool access and tennis court access for our guest! Please bring your pool towels with you. We DO NOT supply pool towels. Community pool access is provided and managed through a third party company. Heartland Cabin Rentals is not responsible for maintenance or pool closures. The pool is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
During the months of November - March , 4 wheel drive and/or chains are required in case of inclement weather.

We loved staying at Christmas Bear. Everything was so clean and perfectly decorated. We loved the hot tub so much that our daughter never asked to use the pool. The only thing I would recommend is more rocking chairs-that was the preferred bear watching spot. (And we saw 2!) We would definitely stay here again (even despite that scary driveway).

This is such a great cabin and the views and bears who visited us were wonderful!! My only suggestions for improvement would be to have more information available about how much dish soap and paper products are available as well as information about where the community pool is located.

The only suggestions Heartland or The Owner of the cabin might consider are:
1. Installing a small light at the base of the stairway/driveway landing. It's a little hard to see at night.
2. The deck was very nice. Probably should be sealed to protect it long-term.

Very Nice Cabin and Location
We enjoyed our stay at Christmas Bear. It is a new cabin and is nicely decorated. It's not a huge cabin, but plenty of room for the 3 of us that went. There is a really nice view that we enjoyed from the hot tub. Daughter would have loved to have a video game machine to play, but we didn't really miss out on that.
