Lush greenery is set in a spectacle of Irish charm. Just a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg, this 2 bedroom and 2 bath, mountain cottage located in a beautiful wooded area with a running creek. This cozy cottage is filled with all of the accommodations you need. Off of the back deck are steps leading down to its own private bridge and island! Two flowing creeks rush on either side of the island, creating the perfect place to try and spot a Leprechaun! COTTAGE SLEEPS 6 ONLY!
During the months of November - March , 4 wheel drive and/or chains are required in case of inclement weather.

We had a very pleasant stay at Leprechaun Island. The home is spacious for a two-bedroom and it was nice to have room to spread out. We've rented places that had more bedrooms but were much smaller overall -- and then you trip over the furniture and each other. I liked that the living room and kitchen/dining area were bigger, and that is was very clean with all the pots/pans/plates you need. This place doesn't have as much "log cabin feel" as some of the places we've stayed at, but that's because this is clearly a smaller home and not a replica log cabin like some other rentals. The house is off of a busier highway but it's not noticeable once you're indoors -- you don't hear traffic noise. It's very quiet. I only mention these things because when going to Gatlinburg, some people seek out rentals based on a certain ambience or mountain-top location. This may not have been as secluded or cabin-like as other rentals but it was very pleasant and comfortable nonetheless. And you could not beat the rental price! Having that and the Xplorie package for free tickets made for a very nice getaway. Other reviewers have commented on the mattresses being older. True, they were not plush or pillowtop, but they didn't impact our quality of sleep. We were too tired from playing all day using our Xplorie passes!

Beautiful scenery. Cabin was exactly what our family wanted. My service animal was welcome with no issues. Just wish beds would be updated, a long-standing complaint of mine about every vacation spot we visit. For the price, it can’t be beat especially with a free ticket to attractions.

The property was lovely; the cabin was spacious, comfortable & well-equipped. Located away from the business district, but close to amenities. We had a wonderful stay, and plan to return.

This property shocked both me and my Fiancée! We were so surprised that it was so spacious ! We loved everything ! It’s so convenient and actually not that far from downtown Gatlinburg! 10/10 we can’t wait to come back next year with our baby girl .
