Country Hideaway — Your Perfect Pigeon Forge Base Camp, Just Minutes from Dollywood
You can practically hear the roller coasters from the porch. Country Hideaway is a charming 2-bedroom log cabin tucked in the heart of Pigeon Forge — just 1.2 miles from the gates of Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country. Whether you're here for the rides, the restaurants, the shopping, or simply to unwind in the mountains, this cozy retreat puts you right where you want to be.
Relax Like You Mean It
Step out onto the deck and sink into the bubbling hot tub after a full day at the park — there's truly no better way to end a Pigeon Forge evening. The main-floor master king suite opens directly to the deck via French doors, making that hot tub feel like it was made just for you. A gas fireplace in the living room sets the mood for cozy nights in, and the fully equipped kitchen means you can skip a restaurant meal whenever you feel like it.
Room for Everyone
Head upstairs to the loft and you'll find a fun bonus space complete with a pool table, jacuzzi tub, full bath, and a queen bed — perfect for kids, a second couple, or anyone who wants their own private retreat. The wraparound porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing is the ideal spot to sip your morning coffee and watch the mountain mist roll in before another adventure-packed day.
A Location That Can't Be Beat
At just over a mile from Dollywood's front gate, Country Hideaway is one of the closest cabin rentals to Tennessee's most beloved theme park. The Island in Pigeon Forge is just 12 minutes away, the Titanic Museum is 15 minutes down the road, and Gatlinburg is an easy 22-minute drive. When you're done exploring, coming back to your own private mountain hideaway feels like the best part of the trip.
Country Hideaway sleeps up to 4 guests and includes free Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, gas grill, and free parking. Dog allowed up to 25 pounds only. No smoking.
Note: There are several steps from the parking area to the front door. 4-wheel drive or chains required November through March in the event of inclement weather.

Country Hideaway has a clean cabin with amenities such as a shower, bed, and internet access. The guest reviews indicate that the cabin is in a good location for both the convenience of being close to Pigeon Forge attractions and the distance from Sevierville. The staff was excellent and the customer service was great.

We had a great stay for our last minute trip! Customer service was great and the cabin was nice. We would stay again without hesitation!

The cabin was centrally located and was very close to restaurants and shopping. The cabin was clean and had the right amount of space for my wife and me. We will definitely rent through Hearland Cabin rentals again next time we book a cabin in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg.

Highly recommend staying and booking with Heartland they have never disappointed us. My biggest issue I always forget and it’s on me is the returned guest discount. I book online instead of calling for discount. Love staying with them.

Heartland staff was excellent Casey and Jordan offered outstanding service. The electronic check in was great and helpful. The cabin was nice and we had no issues or complaints. We have stayed with Heartland numerous times and have had good experiences. The only thing I would say about the cabin is the steps going down and up to and from the cabin might be difficult for some people.

The cabin is in a great location. It’s far enough away from the highway; yet, close to all the Pigeon Forge attractions. The cabin was very clean and exactly as promised. I did have a maintenance issue with the shower at night. I called and left a message. The next morning someone called me back and said the owner would be there to take care of it. A couple hours later he showed up and fixed it. I was very happy with everything and I would stay there again.

We all enjoyed our stay! Nice cabin and in a perfect location which is just minutes away from both Sevierville and pigeon forge. Beds were also very comfortable! The only inconvenience was the drive-way. Where the neighbors drive meets the country hideaway stone drive there is rebar sticking out that we had to really try to avoid it getting in my tire every time we came and went. But thank you for our stay!
