Wonderful Family Vacation
Overall everyone loved this cabin. It was very clean up one arrival. Plenty of towels and was clothes. The kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of seating for dinner and movie nights for the 11 of us. The deck, chairs, table and hot tub were awesome. The bedrooms all had darkening shades which we loved!!! Duel washer and dryer!! This saved us. Eleven people need two washers and two dryers!!!
A few things to consider: the WiFi is very very weak and if it rains it’s non existent. If everyone is one it, it’s non existent. The back of the cabin is nothing but windows so you have a gorgeous view of the mountains. These windows look into the living room and kitchen area. In the afternoon the sun is almost blinding AND hot. Some of those darkening shades would be great on these windows. We actually had to put foil on one because of the direction of the sun. About the dryer…when turned on any setting, it would run the allotted time and turn off. A few times we checked the clothes and they were still damp. When turning the dryer back on it would run like 2 minutes and shut off. No timed setting so that was frustrating. ONLY 3 BATHROOMS. We knew this going in and for the most part it was fine. However there were a few times that it was a real problem.
I’m not saying these things would keep us from staying again because the place is phenomenal. Just consider this before rental. I’d also like to add the rental agency was super nice. All in all a wonderful stay

Amazing stay
This cabin was everything we needed for our weekend away. The details are beautiful and a job well done on the design and decor. If you prefer a cooler night stay then sleep downstairs. If you are cold natured then sleep upstairs. The only drawback was the driveway. It came to no surprise as mentioned multiple times in reviews and description so we accepted that challenge and would do it again. Some had more trouble than others and a couple with no trouble at all. Ashley was very helpful and Heartland went above and beyond checking on us to make sure everything was good. Reservations with Heartlands was A+. The chat option was very helpful and return response was fast and convenient. My gratitude to the staff that helped make this weekend one to remember.

Cabin review
Was a great cabin. Just a couple of small things. None of the rooms had dressers. Also there wasn’t really any blankets and I don’t know about other families but the women in mine get cold quick. We would absolutely love to return. Views are awesome.

A dream come true
My family and I had an amazing time at this cabin. The views are breathtaking and the cabin is well built with plenty of room to move around in. It's not far from the main road either and I thought the location was ideal. I would definitely book this cabin again. Thank you Heartland Cabin Rentals for the wonderful experience!

Convenient location with solitude and peace built in.
We went through VRBO which caused a little confusion on the pricing I’m thankful we found it on there as we would not have found it otherwise. The process was just odd when you are used to dealing with VRBO and then immediately receive a contract from Heartland Rentals. Then to get a $212.00 up charge from VRBO for the listing coming through VRBO when they didn’t do anything concerning the rental contract other than the initial listing. I would still rent from you again but next time I will go straight to your website now that I know. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my concerns we did enjoy the house and we were completely satisfied with our stay.

Very Private Retreat
Fantastic centrally located, unique and beautiful private 5br/3ba home high on a mountaintop. This isn’t a pre-fab everyday cabin in a big neighborhood, this is a private custom-crafted home. We were a group of 12 adults. Kitchen amenities were beyond expectations. Double washers & dryers were a bonus. Endless hot water system was great when you have many folks showering daily. Plenty of comfortable seating areas for everyone in common areas. ALL beds are very firm. (if you like a firm bed) One ac/heat unit for this 2-story home struggles to maintain an even temperature between floors. It stays relatively cool on the main level while the heat rises and warms the upper floor substantially. Definitely recommend a 4WD or at least an AWD vehicle for accessing this cabin, especially during wet/sleet/snow/ice conditions. Will be even better with the future addition of an outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi. Overall would recommend to others.
