First up on the list of favorites is the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen. The Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen is located along the Parkway of Gatlinburg and is the proud home of the original taffy log! Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen freshly pulls twenty-four plus different flavors of taffy daily. They are well known for their melt in your mouth milk chocolate bears and will gladly serve up candies or fudge by the piece or by the box. Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen has been in operation since the 1950s.
Our next stop takes us to Aunt Mahalia's Candies of Gatlinburg also located along the Parkway of Gatlinburg and holds a strong and tantalizing assortment of specialty candies. They go beyond candies here at Aunt Mahalia's, they also specialize in honey, syrups, and jams, candied apples, brittles, and some of the best hard candies and caramels around!
Up next is Kilwin's Chocolates. As you are walking around the North section of downtown Gatlinburg's strip, chances are you can catch a hint of chocolate in the air - Chances are, it's Kilwin's! Kilwin's has an impressive candy collection that includes but is definitely not limited to candy and caramel apples that are dipped, drizzled and confetti-coated with nuts, crunchy brittles, and mouth watering taffies.
