Farmer’s Market Offers Homegrown Flavor
May 18, 2012
The Gatlinburg Farmers Market is open each Saturday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Alamo Steakhouse parking lot at 705 East Parkway. Running through October 13, the market offers residents and visitors local choices for healthy mountain living.
This is a great option for anyone staying in one of our affordable Gatlinburg cabins. All our cabins have kitchen facilities, which means you can make your own freshly prepared meals featuring some of our best locally grown and locally made Tennessee products.
Comprised of Gatlinburg area producers and supporters from Sevier and Cocke counties, the market showcases fresh produce and homemade products that are made available by residents who are focused on the area’s foods, lifestyle, technology and major event productions.
The Gatlinburg Farmers Market is the fulfillment of the operators’ vision to provide residents and visitors with fresh, local produce at a fair price, while also supporting and stimulating the local economy.
To find the market, start at traffic light #3 on the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg and take U.S. 321 (East Parkway) about a mile to the Alamo parking lot on the left.
