Among all of the magic that Dollywood brings to families this holiday season, there will be specially featured holiday shows such as Dollywood’s A Christmas Carol. Dollywood's A Christmas Carol is presented as a brand new spin-off of Charles Dickens' classic Christmas tale. The spin-off will present a holographic representation of Dolly Parton to play the role as the inspiring Ghost of Christmas Past. Other holographic representations, aside from Dolly Parton's Ghost of Christmas Past, will be the Ghost of Christmas Present, the Ghost of Christmas future, and the Ghost of Jacob Marley. The holographic representations are life-like and life-sized thanks to cutting edge technologies. This Christmas story has been a childhood favorite for generations as it expresses the spirit of Christmas. Dollywood's A Christmas Carol will portray costumes to suit the period era, orchestrated music, and a talented cast comprised of 16 members. Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas will also showcase these returning shows: An Appalachian Christmas, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, Christmas in the Smokies, Christmas with The Kingdom Heirs, O' Holy Night, and Carol of the Trees. All holiday shows aside, Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas will also share several other holiday inspired events. Christmas lovers, both young and old will also have the opportunity to experience the Parade of Lights. The Parade of Lights is a nightly procession of Christmas themed characters and life-sized toys. Travel to the North Pole to Santa's Workshop.
