Gatlinburg Cabins - Bloomin BBQ
Is there anything sweeter than the sounds of bluegrass music wafting across the hills and valleys of the Great Smoky Mountains? Probably not. Unless is the sensuous scent of a roasting pig. Yep – it's Sevierville, TN's annual Bloomin' Barbeque & Bluegrass Festival, May 16 and 17, 2014.
This free, family-oriented, fun-filled, lip-smackin’, toe-tapping, belly-filling, 2-day party celebrates championship barbeque, world-class bluegrass music, and a host of other activities! The Bloomin’ Barbeque & Bluegrass festival will host certified judges from across the United States who will judge entries at the Bush's Best TN State Championship Cook Off; need I say anything more about what your taste buds are about to experience?
No? Then let's talk about what your ears will be experiencing: Bluegrass Bands! Included in the lineup are Jimbo Whaley, Bobby Osborn, Dale Ann Bradley, and a whole bunch of other exciting bluegrass artists you won't be able to sit still through. Three-time Grammy nominee, The SteelDrivers, a group of seasoned veterans out of Nashville, TN will headline the event this year.
Besides stuffing your face and tapping your toes, be ready to fill the weekend with singing competitions, authentic mountain arts and crafts browsing, and a Kids Zone featuring old-fashioned games and a Discovery Area that will have bounce houses and musical instruments for the kids to try!
Get as close or as far away from the festival as you wish with a Heartland Cabin Rental, Gatlinburg Cabins. Make a reservation for any of the clean, reasonably priced 1, 2, and 3-bedroom cabins, and you get a Gateway to Fun Pass, too! Each pass includes a free admission to Adventure Park Zipline, Country Tonite Music Theater, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini-Golf, and USA Raft!
